In my own testing this technique requires Internet Explorer 8 or later. Provided the browser configuration supports Google Analytics (as in, the user has not disabled/block GA) and the browser also supports print styles, it should just work. In my own logs I saw the same breakdown of browsers in the print stats as I did in the overall site stats (ratios, not raw numbers). In my testing, I had no issues.
