Do 1 Thing, Like Return Something You Don’t Want
Ester Bloom

Mine’s a two-parter related to Cox Cable’s horrifying billing practices:

  1. File a consumer compliant with my former state’s AG’s office about a debt collection notice I got from Cox Cable on a bill that’s both not due and already paid (which is like, the third weird billing thing from Cox in the last two months, including moving billing dates on bills forward by two weeks and sending out a final notice on a previous owed amount eighteen days after it was paid)
  2. Write a letter to the debt collector’s office explaining that the debt that they are trying to collect on is not actually a valid debt they can collect, because a) it isn’t even due and b) it isn’t even owed.
