Earlier this week I announced my new project Subcutanean: a novel that’s different for each person who reads it (you can read the plot summary on Goodreads). I’m happy to add that I now have a limited number of advance print copies of Subcutanean available, and I’d love to send one to you!
Despite the project’s tagline, these ARCs (Advance Reader Copies) are in fact all the same version — Seed #01893, if you’re interested. I’m still finalizing both the software and prose for the final “quantum” version of the book, so this particular rendering has been tweaked to include only text that’s been finalized and signed off on as of this week. The ARCs are the full novel, not an excerpt: just drawing from a smaller pool of possible content than the final copies will.
I would love to mail copies to folks in the US who would be down to read one and can commit to doing one (or more) of the things below within two weeks of receiving your copy:
- Write a review on Goodreads with your honest opinion, good or bad
- Send me a “blurb” I could use for promo/marketing
- Post a picture of your copy on social media, tagging @subcutanean on Twitter or Subcutanean on Facebook (or using the hashtag #subcutanean elsewhere)
If this sounds okay and you’d like an Advance Reader Copy of Subcutanean, please email aareed+arc at gmail dot com and include your US mailing address. I only have a limited number of copies, so I can’t guarantee you’ll get one, but if there’s enough interest I may be able to do a second ARC giveaway later on.
In the meantime, sign up to be notified when Subcutanean pre-orders launch, and follow the project on Twitter, Facebook, or Goodreads to stay in the loop. I’m really proud of this book and can’t wait to get it — one version of it, anyway — into your hands!
