Nice article Michael, Agreed! ClearBlade’s IoT managed managed SaaS offering run on GCP and we have been very happy with the pricing, support and results. On the other hand, we aren’t big believers in getting too tied to cloud specific service so that our customers can run ClearBlade’s software in any cloud. We heavily leverage Compute and Containers so the tools and capabilities are perfect for our devops and team.

To counter your PUBSUB compliments- I don’t understand GCP PubSub at all — Its HTTP REST based… Google literally built PUB/SUB ontop of a request response architecture? Unless your afraid of your backend being too fast — why anyone would want to scale that? Maybe someone from GCP can explain that to me?
