“I think the answer lies in the reinvention of capitalism.”

The challenges of the next century are much more fundamental than capitalism, business, or even commerce. The examples you illustrate seem to be simply arranging deck chairs. We know how that story ends.

Automation is going to force us to recon with how organizations create value without the need for human labor. And simultaneously, how humans find meaning in life without work.

Whatever comes next will be as unrecognizable to today’s capitalism as capitalism is to the guild systems of the 15th century. Reinvention? Pfft. It’s coming apart. It’s *all* coming apart.

The good news is, I’ll be dead by then.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
