Leading With Love

Earlier this week, I had the chance to pick up Perry Noble’s, “The Most Excellent Way To Lead.” As an avid leadership junkie, I’ve read tons of books that give different views of how leaders should look, what they should treat people like and so on and so on. Noble’s book takes a stand on leadership that I’ve never seen before.

Perry Noble, is a pastor of one of the fastest growing churches in South Carolina, and released the book for not only church leaders but leaders in general. He takes a deep look into one of the most popular chapters in the Bible: 1 Corinthians 13 (The Love Chapter). Reading through this chapter hundreds of times, Noble gives a great perspective:

Love is what drives great leadership.

At the end of 2015, I set a goal to become the best leader I could become this year. To become a better husband, better father, better coworker, and essentially a better leader. With so many leadership books on the market, every author and researcher has their own personal views on leadership.

Recently, I have researched a ton of the companies that boast great perks and benefits. My biggest question is: What makes these huge companies provide such great perks and benefits? A love for their team members. Love for their employees.

I look forward to finishing this great book and probably posting more about it. But until then, lead with love of the people around and those that you’re leading!
