1. ASUS TUF Gaming’s X570-Plus: The best budget X570 motherboard

Although there are many budget boards on the market, most of them don’t fit the Ryzen 7 3700X. They have weak VRMs and poor feature sets, to put it mildly.

ASUS TUF Gaming X570 Plus (non-WiFi) is our recommendation for the best budget X570 motherboard. This board’s base version has all the features you would expect from a mainstream motherboard, at a cost that is only about ten percent higher than the X570 boards.

VRM is capable of hosting any Ryzen CPU. Although it gets warm when the 3900X is running, thermals remain within acceptable limits. Other features include support for up to 5100 Mt/s DDR4 memory and two m.2 slots. There are also eight SATA III ports and a gigabit Ethernet.

Three PCIe ports are included on the board, one of which is PCIe4.0 and runs at 8x. The two other ports are PCIe 3.0, which runs at x8 or x4. There are also three PCIe 4.0x1 slots available.

Seven USB 3.2 ports are located on the rear panel, including one DisplayPort, HDMI, and one USB-C. There is also a variety of audio jacks. Although the board does not include an OC-friendly feature it was expected to do so on a board as cheap.

The ASUS TUF Gaming X570 Plus (non-WiFi version) is a great choice if you don’t require multi GPU support, a lot of USB ports or internal headers, and a board that can be overclocked. For a little more, you can also get the Wi-Fi version.

2. MSI MEGX570 Unify: The best mid-range X570 motherboard

MSI MEGX570 Unify is the best mid-range X570 motherboard. This motherboard is geared towards overclockers because it has powerful VRM and OC-friendly features like POST code and debugs LEDs on the PCB and BIOS flashback on the rear panel.

Apart from these features, Unify supports up to 5000 M.T/s DDR4, and three PCIe.4.0 M.2 slots and a Wi-Fi 6 chip with Bluetooth 5.1. The Realtek ALC1220 codec behind the helm makes the audio section sound solid.

The board has three PCIe 4.0x16 ports. Two of them work in x16 mode, and one works in x4 mode. Two PCIe slots x1 are also included, as well as Crossfire and SLI support. You will find six USB 3.2 ports and two USB 2.0 ports on the rear panel, as well as a variety of audio jacks, as well as a PS/2 port, which somehow escaped from 2006.
