This judge is all over the map. At the end of the hearing he stated that due to the complexity of the issue it would take some time for him to write up his conclusion but he produced this final order of dismissal within a week. In the order he goes on about how his court lacks jurisdiction because plaintiffs reside vs are citizens of the same state. Yet later he states plaintiffs allegedly reside in 19 states but fails to elaborate on that. Which is it and if he lacks jurisdiction why order dismissal or anything else? He writes that none of the plaintiffs read the charter or took action based on the charter and harm done to the general public by corruption of the political process is not a sufficiently concrete, personalized injury so they lack standing. If a business fraudulently sells you a product or service does it matter whether or not you read the fine print? While “the act of donating to an organization does not, of itself, create a legally protected interest in the organization’s operations” doesn’t that mean how the organization is administered in terms of day to day running of the organization not what they actually do. If you give to an organization that says they are a charity to build schools but in reality is diverting the money to terrorist organizations I would think you would have regress against the organization in court as would any party that suffered a loss due to such money transfers. At that point I just couldn’t read any more of his drivel.
