Hi! Don’t be sorry, the experiences only made me a better person at the end.

I understand your second point, we should never be selfish and thinking of others is the greatest motivation in life. But in my experience, trying to solve someone else’s inner issues is impossible. I believe in supporting people, but we can’t sacrifice who we are to help someone else. At the end of the day, we know what we want and need best and a relationship would be more prosperous if both partners handled their own business. In a relationship, people aren’t looking for help, they’re looking for support and respect.

At least that’s just me, some people have beautiful co-dependent relationships that work. Everyone’s needs and interpretations are different.
