Trump declares January 20th to be a “National Day of Patriotic Devotion”.

Trump signed an executive order continuing work on the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) — something indigenous people have been protesting against for a year.

Trump is expected to sign an executive order directing funds toward building a wall on the border of the U.S. and Mexico.

Trump signed an executive order reinstating the “Global Gag” rule — banning federal aid to international organizations that provide any sort of abortion care. This will severely impact women’s health in developing countries.

The Twitter account of Badlands National Park (part of the Department of Interior) sent out a tweet storm of facts and statistics on climate change, which the Trump administration denies the existence of. They were deleted afterwards.

Press Secretary Sean Spicer lied about the turnout at inauguration, overstating the amount of attendees at the ceremony. Campaign Manager Kellyanne Conway defended his lies on television by calling them “alternative facts”.

Trump ordered a media blackout on the Environmental Protection Agency.
