Even when we try treaties & reparations, a few administrations down the road we screw it up (eg Standing Rock Sioux, Fort Laramie treaty, & the millions in attempted reparations sitting in a trust that they still refuse)… how could reparations work when the issuing institution has such a well deserved and poor track record on keeping its word? I know a political revolution including at minimum media & campaign finance reforms would be pretty much required to get reparations potentially passed, but would that be anywhere near enough to get them *trusted*?
