More than anything I’ve read, your comment captures my thoughts on this election … and saddens me deeply regarding the depth of such hateful feelings in our nation. I fear that this election is justifying those bitter, pent-up feelings of animosity toward others and releasing them back into mainstream society with new life and in ways that we’ll be dealing with for a very long time to come.
