An Illustrated Guide to Using the Sh*t Out of Your Notebook
Jessica Guzik

I recently embraced the convenience of digital note apps and I seem to be relying a lot on them now. However, I still keep my Handy Dandy Notebook (I didn’t seem to outgrow Blue’s Clues) with me at all times because nothing feels more satisfying than being able to draw a happy face with lots of exclamation points around when a task goes well. Even though apps have emojis, they still aren’t able to reflect how I feel at the moment, especially during very emotional times. In a notebook, you can feel the pressure on the strokes and the penmanship contributes to the story. You can draw, scribble, gnaw on the pages, stick a gum in or whatever pleases you.

Notebooks, FTW!
