ONE OF ONLY FIVE TV SERIES IN FESTIVAL’S PRIMETIME SCHEDULE & FIRST ISRAELI TV SERIES EVER SELECTED

The Toronto International Film Festival will host a public screening and audience Q&A for STOCKHOLM, the brand new black comedy from Israel, selected as one of just five TV series from around the world to be screened as part of the prestigious TIFF 2018 Primetime Schedule (along with Julia Roberts’ new Amazon series, Homecoming).

The acclaimed drama broke ratings records in Israel earlier this summer and is the first Israeli drama chosen as part of the TIFF schedule. Produced by Artza Productions, STOCKHOLM will be distributed by Keshet International.

Based on the book written by Noa Yedlin, STOCKHOLM follows the story of a leading contender for the Nobel Prize of Economics who is found dead in his bed after an apparent heart attack just five days before the winners are announced. His four closest friends, who have known him for the past 50 years, decide to keep him “alive” until the announcement to give him the opportunity to achieve the one thing he wanted more than anything else and, maybe, a purpose to his life — and death. Check out the trailer here.
