For our course, Ethnic Media in LA, I will be reporting on the Jewish Community in Los Angeles through Jewish Journal . I chose this journal because the it focuses on the Jewish community of Los Angeles as a whole. I look forward to exploring the different issues and interests of this community through this broad lens. On a personal note, I am 50% Ashkenazi Jew on my father’s side, so feel very connected to reporting and learning more about Jewish culture.
