A Twisted Noodle Review

Everyday on my way home from class or work I pass by all the restaurants on Elizabeth Street. I’ve gone to Five Guys and Cosmos Pizza. Of course I’ve been to Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, but never The Twisted Noodle, which had just opened at the time. My friend referred me to this restaurant knowing I was a noodle lover and an Italian food addict.

Let me tell you this place is spectacular! The moment you walk in, the atmosphere hits you with a casual, homey vibe and the people that work there aren’t anything but nice. This is a must go to restaurant! With a large variety on the menu , I chose to try the Chicken Gorgonzola with Cavatapi.

This dish was AMAZING. I’ve had pasta on-the-go before and it hasn’t met up to this restaurants hospitality, nor taste. The mix of garlic, mushrooms and sun-dried tomato’s always completes a dish for me and The Twisted Noodle did just that to a perfection.

It took no more than 10 minutes for the food to come out. The waiter was very attentive and told us about our food before we even started diving into our dish. Since I’ve tried The Twisted Noodle, I’ve gone back two more times.

I decided to twist it up and try something new, so I chose to try the shrimp scampi and was I just as impressed as I was the first time. They have a great way of combining locally grown foods within their dishes. The tomatoes in this dish actually came from farms in Fort Collins and you can’t help but appreciate helping local eats. No wonder this restaurant was so successful in Longmont, Co. I just hope the Fort Collins location stays in business for my future, after-school cravings.
