balance like
a rubber ball
raindrop momentum
from infinity
knees are all
she feels but
it will rest into
the best timeline

easily,
she can tell.

discomfort is
an easy distraction
but success
doesn’t have to wait
she decides to feel
pleasure on her
most painful of days.
to find bliss
in the experience
of being
within
a human body.

and sometimes
following the universe
feels like walking on
eggshells.
flow can feel like
punishment
so she crunches down
allowing space for
the breakage.
she grinds up
clay, porceline,
even glass.
and she uses
a mixture of
olive oil, dandelion mush,
and seawater;
she creates
a silky substance
