By reading a mere three sentences, you have come to the unmistakable conclusion that this man is a “racist” that only adds to the “problem.” Everything the “racist” claimed was actually true: though poverty is indeed a major factory in determining crime rate in a population or area, whites who live under the same poverty as blacks are far less likely to commit a felony. This is not because of the racist “system;” it is not because African-Americans are second class citizens in America. This is because our fellow citizens choose to blame the Bill Clintons on the basis of their skin color, which contradicts the very nature of their movement and makes them guilty of the same crime they profess to despise to greatly, and less time blaming the Al Sharpton, a man who would not qualify to be the great Dr. King’s secretary if he was still around. When we dare to criticize such African-American leaders for their failures to close the gap between people of ALL colors, most people will yell, “you cannot tell us who our leaders are!”
Although racism is indeed alive in America, though not nearly as powerful as it once was and will never be as powerful as some people claim today, this misconception has resulted in absolute idiocy: for it is Bill Clinton’s faults that 70% of African American households do not have a father; it is Clinton’s fault that the African American leaders have chosen to exploit the death of every young black man by a cop, even when force was justified in part of the officer, to remain on the news as long as they can; it is Clinton’s fault that people choose to lay waste to their cities and, if I may say, use their actions to feed the dreaded racism that still exists in our country today. As a proponent and someone who idealizes MLK, I can honestly say that Dr. King would be ashamed.
