. I am tempted to disagree with you. It is in fact in socialistic countries where, as big as the government is, the people are, in a case of bitter irony, neglected and persecuted all the while being stripped of their basic human rights. And this is the year 2016: for we now know the Marx was wrong when he claimed that capitalism will eventually lead to socialism. If anything, we are seeing the exact opposite! Socialist ideas are simply fashionable these days because far too many people are poisoned by the “I’m alive, there I am entitled to ______” mindset.

Socialism is the opiate of the intellectually inept and lazy masses. See what I did there?
