. It is indeed a tragedy. Although I am tempted to ask the question of why this 13-year-old found the need to run from the police to begin with. Have we really trained our youth to despise and fear police to the point of paranoia? What is more, perhaps it is time to place the blame of why we are perceived as dangerous at the actual guilty party: namely, the black thugs who, even though consisting of only a few percentage of the American population, have a disproportionately high crime rate.
