Imagine yourself as a fisherman, and you see that big juicy fish, waiting for it to catch your hook. You know what you want and that it might take time to accomplish your goal, but you keep waiting. Hopefully, you capture that fish by the end of the day.
Now, maybe you are confused and wondering what that has to do with being a software developer. As a fresh software developer, you probably see those fancy websites and get the urge to build one as well. But the thing is: Those sites are developed by a team of developers who are patient enough to build such a great website over time. So it’s normal for you to give it more time, start simple, and you get to improve day by day. A seed doesn’t turn out to be a tree right away, but it grows over time.
Understanding the process of software development is crucial to becoming a great developer. Knowing how to develop an application is half the battle, understanding when and how is the other half. So take your time and believe you are going to be great.
