Today, I was reading the Scrum guide, and I looked for the Development Team section…I was really surprised and by the same way, i learnt something that I wanted to share with you :

Development Teams have the following characteristics:

• They are self-organizing. No one (not even the Scrum Master) tells the Development Team how to turn Product Backlog into Increments of potentially releasable functionality

We can all agree, that in SCRUM, the Product Owner and the Scrum Master are not included in the Development Team.

The Product Owner and Scrum Master roles are not included in this count unless they are also executing the work of the Sprint Backlog.

I posted this because in many teams, in many compagnies, it was (almost) always the Product Owner, who lead and choose the increment content by Business values first instead of technical part.

(You can verify, by yourself, on the link of the Scrum Guide).

I hope that you learned something today with that post ! Give me claps if you liked it :)
