I don’t like the pull the “If Steve Jobs” card, but I honestly believe the missing piece to be the lack of his “editing” skills. Jobs was a masterful editor. He knew what to toss and what to keep. Apple has a much harder time with this and that’s what they’re missing. I still expect Watch to do great, but it’s going to take Apple more time to figure out what works and what doesn’t. They’re likely going to publically fail more, sort of like Google.
