An announcement about the restart of the football league, a Sunday brunch with an avocado toast, a coconut milkshake with strawberry & cream and steamed ice cream!

What are you talking about?

You should be asking.

I am telling you only few of the things I see in my Instagram stories feed, every day.

Enjoyable moments, food experiences, travelling vibes or raising awareness campaigns for a cause, these are all expressions of people’s feelings on social media.

And they are real, authentic, unique to their likes or dislikes.

Instagram stories exist since August 2016 and have countless features and functions, making it one of the most effective forms of both organic and paid media.

According to data from Instagram 2020 data:

1 billion people use Instagram every month

500 million people use Instagram Stories every day

200 million Instagram users visit at least one business profile every day

From a Business perspective, why do Brands post Stories anyway?

Simply Because they want to:

· Stay Top of Mind, knowing what is the trending, what are people buying or supporting,

· Promote a product launch enabling users to see and give their feedback,

· Showcase an offer through an Influencer,

· Be in the Game and Diversify their Strategy with new and offers, products or services,

· Use Real-Time Marketing to monitor daily what are people’s interest in that particular story,

· Have Fun Marketing, be a cool Brand in the eyes of internet fans,

· Preserve a High Quality Business Profile with refreshed content everyday,

· Maintain Visibility in Their Followers’ Feeds and make them engage,

· Announce a Live Event

· Launch a Contest

· Give real advise

One of the main ingredients for you to create a story that sticks, is that first of all you need to envision yourself as a storyteller.

Tell stories about your product and services, share your ideas with the community, discuss blog posts, add tutorials on how to solve problems or everything you want to share with others.

IG stories are a great way to be fun and creative in a visual way.
