A character named Truman Burbank who lives in the fictional town of Seaheaven in the Jim Carrey and Peter Weir film The Truman Show. The entire plot of the film revolves around a show that Christof devised in which Truman’s entire life is broadcast on TV and everyone in his immediate vicinity is a paid extra. Later, Truman comes to understand how everything in the community revolves around him. He then developed a curiosity, started moving indecisively, and eventually learned the truth.

In the Truman life, there are no significant issues, such as a financial or economic crisis, significant conflicts, natural disasters, etc. He spent his entire childhood surrounded by the peace and charm of a tiny village. We frequently assume that the director is trying to show how defective and problematic our real lives are in particular scenes of the film. The movie seems to be critiquing the real world. But with time, this perfection robs Truman of his authenticity and independence. Genuine fulfillment arises from life’s unexpected and surprising events. Everyone having the freedom to do anything they want is what I call the good life, but what is nice for me might not be good for you. The freedom that Truman is thinking he will get in real world may also be dilemma at last Christof also said “there is no more truth out there, the same lies, the same deceit”.
The film also raises the question: Is Truman happy now? Does he get what he wants? Did he get his freedom? The film gave us no clue about that part. But in my opinion, Truman found out that the people here are not as generous as in sea heaven and many other things, which left him regretting his decision to leave sea heaven.
