Qualitative :

In qualitative statistics, we examine quality over quantity, categorizing data into distinct groups without numerical values. The nominal scale assigns labels to categories without implying any order, while the ordinal scale adds a ranking but still lacks precise numerical differences. Together, these scales allow for a deeper understanding of qualitative attributes, enriching our exploration of diverse phenomena beyond mere numbers.

Quantitative :

Quantitative statistics deals with numerical data, focusing on measurable attributes that can be expressed in numbers. It assesses the quality of these numerical values within an interval or ratio scale, where the differences between values are consistent and meaningful. Utilizing arithmetic operations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, quantitative statistics allows for precise analysis and comparison of these numerical measures.
