As we know that the ffmpeg is a powerful media converter which can convert from one media format to another media format.

Sometimes, A new user might freak out when introduced to FFmpeg but it has only CLI arguments or he might spend hours searching for the perfect command on the internet which might be a huge task for newcomers to the world of FFMPEG and the media format editing world. Thus to make a first step to simplify the effort for the newcomers, here I listed some of the available

  1. Hybrid is a cross-platform (Windows/Linux/MacOS) This application is for experienced users. If you are a newbie to ffmpeg package and do not much know about multimedia codecs and containers, then, this application is not a good start. Read more…

Below mentioned applications are not much active in development. It might work in the latest systems. You can try and share the feedback in the comment which can be very useful for the readers.

Avanti — FFmpeg GUI — It has official support up to Win8. After that no maintenance of the application. Hence, It may or may not work in the latest Windows.

FFmpeg-GUI — It is not in active development. The source code is available on GitHub.

QwinFF — It is another open-source repo, but development stalled since 2020!
