Basically, it’s a learning and upskilling program by the official Microsoft to provide us the opportunity and platform to learn and upgrade our skills with the latest and in-demand technologies like AI, ML, DevOps, Azure, Cloud Computing, and Microsoft technologies.
Microsoft Ignite Edition — Microsoft Learn Cloud Skills Challenge 2023 is a bundle/collection of 12 latest in-demand skills challenges that we can join and complete. These Microsoft Ignite Edition challenges are open for 2 months and the starting date of Microsoft Ignite Edition — Microsoft Learn Cloud Skills Challenge is 15 Nov 2023. The challenge ends on January 15, 2024. Make sure you have completed your challenge before time runs out.
The main purpose of these challenges is described by Microsoft on the Microsoft Learn website in 3 points:

After clicking on the above given any of the 12 challenges links, you will be directed to a page like this one, and you simply need to sign in to your account using Gmail or Microsoft account and click on the “Join the Challenge” button.
After joining the challenge you will be able to see all the modules of the particular challenge that you joined, click on these modules one by one and complete them all. That’s it your challenge will be completed by completing all the modules. With every module completion, you will be awarded with a completion badge from the Microsoft Learn platform and you can share or download it from your MS Learn profile.
So let’s move to our 3rd question which is do we need to pay any amount to join these challenges? The answer is simply NO, it’s free of cost and you can join and complete these all challenges and earn badges from the Mircosoft Learn platform.
The 4th question is how we can complete these challenges after joining them. The answer is same as I described in the 2nd answer, when all the modules of the challenge completed, our challenge will be considered as completed but it will take some time to update the challenge leaderboard and module completion. So wait for at least 24–48 hours and then the challenge will be shown as completed after that.
The 5th question is can we join more than one challenge? The answer is YES, you can join as much challenges as you want to join and complete. This will be a great learning experience for you to complete the challenges and increase your learning on such a big platform of Microsoft Learn.
