What is Mass Production. Mass Production is the manufacture of a product in large quantities instead of singular production.

Mass Production made a big impact on America during the 1800’s

This population growth was due to imthe decision people made to live closer to Atlantic ocean so that there more supplies and food shipped to them.

Eli Whitney was an american inventor, mechanical engineer, and manufacturer made a lot of different adjustments to the economy when he created the Cotton gin. But him developing the concept of mass production with interchangeable parts in the Rifle is what truly coined the idea of mass production.

How America was impacted by Mass Production. Once Eli Whitney developed this idea, Mass Production became the New American system of manufacturing. Mass production also created a new foundation for agriculture by increasing the production of forage crops used to support livestock in the winter, which in a sense allowed better income.

Mass production made a big impact onFood and its sources. During the 1800’s mass production created a space for prices of items to be altered in a good way for the consumer.

The prices were decreased due to there being a larger number of the items that you wanted.

Before Mass production food was usually manufactured on a made to order basis.

Mass production helped to widen the market by not just making what people needed when they needed it but making larger quantities of anything the consumers could desire.
