
Pomodoro Challenge:
Tomato Timer?Right?
No just kidding. Actually, its a time management hack. Most of us actually do that. I often used that technique of creating short deadlines and rewarding myself in return before, but never knew this technique actually exist with this POMODORO name. #Amal introduced that name to me.
This time again I tried it in writing my project blogs with 25 minutes timer. I was unable to complete my blog because of distractions like my friends, text messages, notifications etc. So that I again set the timer and went to the study room,a quite place, carrying my laptop and with my silent mode cell-phone. This time again, I felt hungry and couldn’t complete. So I gave pause and started again. Finally, this time I completed my work and rewarded myself with “Perk” chocolate.
In this way POMODORO, increased my work productivity. In other case, If I didn’t set any timer. It could take hours.
In nut-shell, I learned that:
1-How to concentrate better?
2-How to minimize after-effects of unusual stresses?
3-How to increase the will-power?
4-How to control own mind?
5-How to increase work-productivity?
6-How to avoid distractions by better focus and embellish standard tasks?
