Serenity calls out to me
In the darkness of the river bed
Enchanting and alluring is how i see
The moment to which i am forever wed.
Serenity calls out to me
Through the radiance of the moonlight
Reflection of which is an ode to the tree
And its presence a gift to the sight.
Serenity calls out to me
As the wind hustles the sleeping leaves
They dance in delight just to be
Embraced by the moment as the magic it weaves.
Serenity calls out to me
How still is the water while flowing free
It gives wings to the fishes to float in glee
And in its kingdom decadence does flee.
Serenity calls out to me
The blinking stars are your's for free
Soak in the moment, just to be
Happy and alive beyond decree.
