What is your Destiny ?

The task that you were put on earth to accomplish

This is another interesting conundrum that many “face” in life. The issue with it is when you give away the “power” to outside of you — like someone is pulling your strings and you are merely following a script that you are supposed to play.

Yes, I do believe that there are two powerful spiritual forces in life that one must integrate — the Yin and Yang of “Intention” and “Surrender”

Intention helps focus your energies and puts them in motion. The realm of our conscious mind.

Surrender allows them to be harnessed at its optimal level by letting our subconscious mind take over

It is the harmony of both the above which makes life fullfilling ( combining purpose and serendipity).

I have realised that learning to integrate these two in your life can be your sole purpose . If I live a life only with Intention, I will make it clinical and achievement driven, and it will have no “soul”. If I make a life only “surrender” driven, I will feel lost, purposeless and not feel fulfilled. It is when I combine the two that the magic happens.

This journey of harmony takes place within us. It has tremendous impact on the world outside as well. If we however look on to the world outside to guide us on our inner journey, then we may actually not be folllowing our destiny !

“So that’s what destiny is: simply the fulfillment of the potentialites of the energies in your own system.”
