As much as i am interested in creative and technology, i feel that the best blend of both are in the form of simple outputs. Today i am listing down 5 Simple yet awesome Products ideas in the form of applications for your Mac.

1 ) iPic Photo Manager and Uploader

This is a pretty nifty app, iPic automatically uploads images and saves markdown links for you to use in your day-to-day requirements.
It lets you upload images by
○ Drag and Drop on the top menu bar icon
○ Context menu on Right Click
○ From Clipboard on copy (This is a boon especially if you take a lot of screenshots on your mac)
○ By defining a Shortcut

By default it gives you a free image host to upload images. It also supports Imgur, Flickr and other image hosts which can be unlocked with a simple In-App Subscription of $3.99 per year.

You can download it at https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ipic/id1101244278?mt=12

2) Desk Connect — The missing link between your devices.

Deskconnect by Ari “AriX” Weinstein and Ben Feldman is equivalent to a God Mode for the Mac and iOS devices. It helps you move web pages, documents, pictures, and everything else between your devices. It even lets you send your clipboard (a feature that Apple will launch soon with the new macOS Sierra)
It resides in your menu bar on your mac and as an app in your iPhone/iPad. It is easily accessible and super easy to use. And the best part of it is that its totally free of cost and without any irritating ads.

For Power users, it lets you customise even more. With support for Workflow, Automator and AppleScript, you can integrate DeskConnect in your workflows and scripts with ease.

3) Aerial — Apple TV Aerial Views Screen Saver

Aerial is a stunning visual beauty and a must have screensaver for your Mac. It is based on the new 4th Generation Apple TV screen saver that displays the aerial movies Apple shot over New York, San Francisco, Hawaii, China, etc.
It requires a good internet connection because it streams the video directly from Apple servers. But that also helps in keeping the videos up-to-date. If you’ve got multiple monitors, there is a setting that loads a different aerial for each of your displays. There is also an option to choose specific aerials to play according to your preference.

Aerial is created by John Coates and completely open source. He has given simple instructions to install the screensaver on your Mac. Luckily there is a Windows version of the screensaver too and its available on the website.

You can download it from https://github.com/JohnCoates/Aerial

4) Skitch by Evernote

Skitch was always a great application, but the acquisition by Evernote added a lot more to the simple yet effective tool. It lets you collaborate and share annotation, shapes, arrows and sketches, so that your ideas become reality faster.
Skitch is available on your desktop, tablet and phone. Being an Evernote product it gives you a login feature to save data to Evernote. Its one of the best apps with which you can share quick feedback on images.

With a Basic FREE membership of Evernote you are entitled to 60 MB of new uploads per month and Sync across 2 devices which is definitely not a bad deal at all. You can switch plans anytime and upgrade your account.

You can install the Mac and iOS apps from https://evernote.com/skitch/

5) Miro Media Player and Converter

If you are into media (videos, podcasts, music) like me, Miro is like a Swiss Army Knife for you. Its one of the best media player i have used till date. Miro works with your current music library. It’s very easy to switch from iTunes to Miro — without any copying. It is also simply the best music and video converter for iOS, Android, Kindle phones and tablets.

Amazon is integrated into the platform for purchase of music and movies. Apart from purchase you can subscribe to various podcasts, download them and even share it with other Miro users. Its again a freeware and available on all platforms.
