Alberta calls Canada Express Entry Program candidates with CRS Scores as low as 301
In their May 15th, 2019 draw the Canadian province of Alberta, has invited 197 Canada Express Entry program candidates with Comprehensive Ranking System scores as low as 301 to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence in Canada. Seven of the Alberta express entry draws taken place in 2019, have seen the minimum CRS score range between 300 and 302.This Canada Express Entry Draw has been conducted via the Alberta Express Entry Stream, which is one of the sub streams of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP).
The AINP falls under the Canada’s Provincial Nominee Program, that permits provinces and territories of Canada to nominate economic immigration applicants who fit the local labor market requirements of that province. Every province has their own provincial nominee program except Quebec and Nunavut who have their own separate immigration selection system.
The Alberta Express Entry stream was launched in 2018, and acts as pathway via which the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program search, or reach out to the federal Express Entry system applicants who meet their specific labor market needs and requirements. If nominated via this program, you can apply for permanent residence along with their spouse or common law partner, and dependent children. The AINP is of the most popular provincial nominee programs, with the application and immigration selection process similar to other provincial nominee programs, that select majority of the candidates from the Federal Canada Express Entry program.
A successful nomination from the province of Alberta, helps you gain an additional 600 Comprehensive Ranking system points, thereby increasing your chances to receive an Invitation to apply for Canada permanent residence. Immigrants can apply to the Alberta Express Entry System, only after getting a Notification of Interest (NOI) letter from the province of Alberta. Candidates who will be eligible will be directly contacted by the Alberta Provincial Nominee Program through their Express Entry profile.
Only those Canada Express entry program applicants who receive an invitation or a NOI letter from the AINP, can lodge an application for provincial nomination under the Alberta Express Entry stream.
The AINP chooses prospective candidates based on the self-declared information present in their respective Express entry profiles. You are not allowed to use a nomination under a different stream of AINP for applying under the Alberta Express Entry stream or even the federal Canada Express Entry program.
If you choose to immigrate via the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program you must:
