Terence Tao, a made Genius

The kid who mastered Group theory, Calculas, Linear algebra etc. at an tinder age of 8 years. His name Terence Tao is unanimous with Genius.

Here I will not discussed his achievements as in others answers it is already done, but will give you a very good insight about hod did Mr. Terence was able to achieve the unachievable and that also at a very less age. There is a life long discussion on whether Genius are made or born ? Here you will get a answer though a study done on Tao when he was 8.

Very few people know, in 1983 a retired professor from Monash university visited Tao home in order to conduct various researches on the boy to know how the lad is able to ace undergraduate calculus problems.

He asked Tao questions from a variety of maths topics ranging from aptitude maths and last last getting to integral calculus. Tao was able to answer every question with close to 100% accuracy. He was even able to answer questions from combinatorics, even though at that time he didn't studied combinatorics. For the professor it was like somebody was feeding information directly to Tao's head in his sleep.

The professor was astonished by the boy, he thought how it was possible, he was a extreme case of prodigies. To get the answer Professor Clements asked his parents about how did they taught Terence all these complex maths, to which the mother replied,

In the last paragraph you can get your answer about how Terence was able to do the unthinkable. He used to study 3–4 hours of mathematics of his own that also after school. Terence was a laborious kid from the start only.

Hardwork and curiousity that is the difference between a prodigy mind and a non-prodigy mind. Prodigies are just a illusion, the main principal at work is just hardwork. Most people think talent is something that is born at birth, but that's not true, these are the excuses by a lazy mind.

Terence now also at UCLA works for hours.
