Entrepreneurship is deeply rooted in risk-taking and this excessive reliance on “funded-startups” is worrisome.
Onboarding people to your service/product by luring them through freebies and discounts is questionable, unsustainable most importantly unethical.
There are startups building army of delivery-boys, it is probably good that the unskilled are getting employed but this is just short term. I wonder, how can these be tagged as startups? How are they any different from existing courier services? What is a startup anyways? Can I open a Paan ki dukaan and deliver paan through an app and call it startup? I hope not.
