On May 29, 2020, researchers at the Elon Musk, Sam Altman founded OpenAI released a research paper on GPT-3. GPT-3 is at once an innocuous acronym and a harbinger of a very different future — one where AI ends up what many predict to be the death of the final vestige of human excellence — ’creativity’. Of course, many argue this is an overtly simplistic extrapolation of what AI can ultimately do. Many others are not so sanguine and predict the demise of our utility as humans. For now, I would argue, we are not in dire straits. In fact, we are at the beginning of understanding and unlocking the true power of human existence — our consciousness.
