Of course, things didn’t change the next day. Yet, I see it as a turning point. It took time, much time and efforts. And rather it enhanced other attributes. I turned to writing — which helped me a lot in many ways. I read a lot about depression. So, it might not help me a lot but, motivated me to come out of hopelessness.

And, as you said, people need to learn more about mental illness. and stop seeing it as a weak line. Because a depressed person hates seeing himself as weak.

There was this campaign last year in India named ‘Dubara Poochoo’ to create awareness about mental health. It had an important message which resonated to me — ‘If you care, Ask again.
