Falling in love isn’t hard on the knees

When our mouths preferred kisses over conversations,

The void was all but inevitable.

I wish I could exchange few of those kisses for words,

If it would help you understand, that,

Whatever you’re going through, you’re not alone,

I will be there by your side,

Not sugar coating that everything is going to be fine,

But, sharing the ride.

When you fall for someone, you don’t get to choose the good or the bad,

Oh dear, I like you just the way you’re,

Your quirks make you who you’re,

There is nothing I would change for the good or for the bad.

After all, falling in love isn’t so hard on the knees!
