A Glimpse Into My Life

Part 1: The Story of My Life in 100 Words

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always loved music. It’s been a huge part of my life, and it still is. Almost all of my family used to play an instrument, and some of them still do. I play the violin, and I’ve been playing it in the orchestra at my school for about five years now. What I love about music is that you don’t need to use words to describe it, because sometimes it’s hard to put those feelings into words. To me, music is a great way to express yourself. So that’s what I do.

I like all kinds of music, from classical songs I’ve learned on violin to popular songs on the radio. Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song” is one I’m currently obsessed with. I’ll admit, I’m not a huge Rachel Platten fan, and I couldn’t even name one of her other songs, but I love this song because it’s so empowering. It’s about taking control of your life, believing in yourself when life gets hard, and staying strong. This song means something to me because there was a period of time when I didn’t really feel happy myself. Now I feel more in control of my life, something this song is all about.

Currently my family is working towards getting a dog, so recently we’ve been researching goldendoodles, the breed we’re going to get.

Part 6: People I Admire

Harry Potter

Harry Potter is the main character in J.K. Rowling’s book series Harry Potter. What I admire about Harry is even though he had a horrible childhood, he grew up to be a kind, loving person who never turned to evil despite all he’s been through.

Percy Jackson

Percy Jackson is the main character in Rick Riordan’s book series Percy Jackson and the Olympians. What I admire about Percy is how brave and loyal he is. He would sacrifice himself for his friends and even strangers, which makes him a great role model.

Clary Fairchild

Clary Fairchild is the main character in The Mortal Instruments book series by Cassandra Clare. The series has also been turned into a TV show, Shadowhunters, on FreeForm. What I admire about Clary is how caring and compassionate she is. She would go to any length to help the people she cares about, which makes her a great role model.
