Thank you for reading, and you are correct that physical disfigurements, blemishes, or other kinds of appearances should never be used to visually argue that someone is a villain. This is somewhat different than the focus of my article, since this problem has roots in the Neoplatonic belief that good people are beautiful and evil people are ugly. However, this does need to also be addressed, if not in this article.
