Project Overview

Construction Cost management refers to the tasks involved in budget planning and control for a project. Tracking expenses and risk while keeping a job on budget might be one of the most difficult challenges in any construction project. Finding ways to execute all of these things efficiently makes a significant difference in completing a project on time and under budget.

Problems

Fail to estimate the project exactly
Basic construction procedures are not followed and cannot control costs
Irregular management, contract and many changes for the project is not managed well
Rise of cost due to unreasonable financing structure

Solutions

This app will provide a central record of all cost incurred, and control the overall cost of the project
This app will help to keep track of the materials, items used in the project as well as the site location
This app brings all workflows into a single platform to reduce risk and show real-time information about the financial health of a project.

Quantitative Research

I decided to perform a User Survey to get quantitative data. Like in general, how often you work on construction project ? what was your role? A user survey was conducted and these were some findings

Empathy Map

We need empathy map to understand users’ thoughts, emotions, and actions in relation to a product or service. By creating an empathy map, we can gain insight into users’ needs, pain points, and motivations, which can help improve the product’s design and user experience.
