YouTube has always been a trustworthy knowledge base for a lot; it has also become an incredible resource for designers like me, looking to improve their skills, learn new techniques, and stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the industry. With thousands of channels, navigating through the noise and finding the most valuable content can be overwhelming. As a designer, I’ve compiled this A-Z list of YouTube channels to follow. Must you follow them all? Probably not; I do.

These channels cover various topics and offer tutorials, insights, and tips to help you hone your craft and take your design skills to the next level. So, let’s dive in and explore these best YouTube channels.

She also offers tips on colour theory, typography, composition, etc. I enjoy her funny videos explaining some terms or UX situations.

The Futur

The Futur is a YouTube channel run by a California team of designers, marketers, and entrepreneurs. Their channel focuses on five main topics: Mindset, Marketing, Sales & Negotiations, Pricing & Motivation. They often cover logo design, branding, typography, and layout topics. In addition to design, they offer insights into marketing and entrepreneurship, advising on social media marketing, content creation, and building a successful brand. I will be surprised if you don’t already follow them by now.

The Website Architect

The Website Architect is a YouTube channel run by a web designer and developer based in Australia. The channel offers a range of content related to web design and development, including tutorials on web development languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as insights into design principles and tips and tricks for creating effective websites. He often covers web development topics like responsive design, accessibility, and user experience. This guy is super blunt, and you should be “F-proof” to visit this channel.

Udacity

In addition to their courses, Udacity offers “nanodegrees,” comprehensive programs to provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to launch a career in their chosen field. Nanodegrees include projects, portfolio reviews, and career services to help students prepare for job interviews and employment. Udacity’s courses and nano degrees are a great resource for anyone interested in learning more about technology and advancing their career.

In addition to their tool tutorials, they provide insights and tips on design principles and techniques. They often cover design topics like visual hierarchy, typography, colour theory, and data visualization. Visme’s channel is a great resource for anyone looking to create professional-quality visual content for their business or personal brand.
