While we died

There were some who came to help us at the expense of their own lives

There were some who saw our travail, informed the world and sought for help on our behalf

There were some alarmists, who reported our gruesome murder, although a little bit exaggerated

There were some who stood by, watched us and did nothing

To those who came to our rescue, we say thank you, for risking your safety so that we might be safe. Without you a lot more would have been dead

To those who shared the news with the world, we applaud your help as you brought our case to the attention of the world. There is hope for us because of you

To the alarmist, we know not what your intentions were, but we appreciate your role in making sure that our case became a topic of discussion in public fora

To those who stood by and did nothing, we understand that some of you are already broken and as such could not help. We pray you never suffer our fate

We Would Not Forget

Those who watched us suffer, did nothing and stopped others from helping

Those who were supposed to protect us, but looked away while our assailants perpetuated their heinous act

Those who supported the murderers and urged them on

Those who made light of our humanity, because they were not in our shoes

Hypocrites who claim to support our cause, yet fund our murderers with ammunition

Our prayer for you all, is that you reap what you sowed a thousand folds

Finally, to our murderers may you know no peace, until justice prevails!
