Global Warming

My social issue is global warming. I chose this topic because global warming has appeared as one of the biggest environmental issues in the last two decades. Discussing global warming with friends and family leads people to learn influential facts, such as the scientific consensus that human-made global warming is happening. My goal is to inform others about the causes and effects of human activity regarding global warming. Industries and companies must turn their fossil fuels off transportation and work on burning fuel to create more electricity. For my event, I created a non-profit organization and website that works to build a world with renewable energy for all. I want to raise awareness about the real effects of global warming and climate change. I want to create a movement. The only way to build our future is to generate electricity from clean and renewable sources.
