I understand that you have a sincere concern for your family and loved ones, and I commend you for your political awakening, even at age 44.

That being said, you would probably benefit from some fact checking, especially with regards to the WWII comparisons, as there are some stark differences in circumstance and events between then and now.

Furthermore, comparing your Trump supporting Facebook friend to a pig is just as denigrating, if not more so, as the generalizations made by a few vocal Trump supporters with regards to Muslims.

Far be it from me to suggest that the Trump platform is a coherent or vaguely construction model, however that does not condemn his supporters, who likely share a very similar concern to yours, as to the fate of your country.

While moving to Australia might seem like a viable escape, it is precisely the tactic that might allow hostility to manifest.
