The Charlie Brown Farms

The Charlie Brown Farms is a one-of-a-kind roadside attraction on Highway 138 in the outskirts of Los Angeles. While the name isn’t a household name, the quaint little town of Pearblossom is home to a legit stop on the way to Vegas or Vegas to LA.

If you’re a candy connoisseur, you’ll appreciate the plethora of candies, confections and charcuterie on offer. Aside from the standard fare, you’ll also find a few novelty treats, such as a Texas style BBQ hot deli. This small but mighty store is sure to please even the most finicky of taste buds.

While you’re at it, take a break and sample a cocktail, a beer or two, or a smoky grilled cheese. The place is wheelchair friendly. There’s even a dinosaur exhibit to boot! It’s also a short drive from the heart of Hollywood, and it’s the kind of quaint and sexy place you’d probably want to stay awhile to ponder. Despite its modest acreage, the eponymous is a shopper’s dream and a fun way to spend the day or night, if you’re into that. That is if you can tear yourself away from the countless artisanal treats, or more importantly, the oh so tasty fare served up by the friendly staff. As a bonus, if you’re on a diet, you can get your dietary needs met by a hefty portion of homemade beef jerky.
