A Time to Kill iTunes
M.G. Siegler

I have been using iTunes since version 1.0. I have had every single version between that and the current one.

I simpy do not understand why everybody gets their knickers in a twist over iTunes. It is one of the few pieces of software I’ve never had an issue with.

I wasn’t wild about the social media experiment, I forget what the name was.

Other than that, I love it. “It’s bloated”, as if it actually weighs anything. I plug my iPhone in, I sync the device, I’m done.

The only thing I really don’t like is that you can’t get all the Pixar shorts, which makes no sense to me since Steve Jobs owned Pixar. And I want a larger movie catalog.

Other than that iTunes is a fantastic piece of software. I wonder how many people don’t understand the stupid complex backend that sends all that content to your devices and syncs it effortlessly.

Every so often someone needs to harp on iTunes. For me iTunes works and to me software working means everything. everything. I have no time for stuff that doesn’t work. Not even stuff from Apple.

If iTunes is so bad, what’s a better alternative?

Don’t say ‘Windows 10’. I would give my worst enemy Windows 10, because I am not a kind man and I’d relish in the knowledge he would be suffering badly.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
