School Isn’t Uber And Never Should Be
Shanna Peeples

Sigh — It is this entrenched status quo that grows communities and brings people together. The push back from the education establishment has more to do with the need to maintain community and common experience than it does with controlling the masses. I so wish that more people could see the fast rate at which we are growing apart. The public school is one of the last places where people are forced to deal with differences. We cannot as a nation profess that we admire diversity, only to destroy the public domain to teach young people how to deal with diversity and respect it.
