this was an incredible article/piece of personal expression to read, thank you for sharing it. i am a “cis woman” (with my own thoughts about how i perceive gender and how i feel about currently identifying as a cis woman, but thats not for this post) and i do agree that misandry makes me uncomfortable because of its lack of productivity in actually reforming patriarchal norms but also what you said re quelling so many people’s experiences with gender. however, due to many horrible experiences with cis men especially in terms of interacting with rape culture, sexual harassment/aggression, etc, how is it possible to balance anger with oppressors and being mindful of how cis women are oppressors themselves? how is it possible to make sure that justifiable anger is not harmful? these are things i think about regularly, but this piece definitely made me reconsider how i express my feelings and create spaces for discussions about gender
